About

They say ‘write what you know’.

This is the void where I create and reshape and write things. This is where I become immortal and meaningless.

What am I? I contain multitudes. I am memories. I am experience. I am flesh and blood. I am a slowly decaying piece of meat hanging off some bones. I am a collection of cells I can’t see which are mostly made of nothing. I am unique. I am very similar to a lot of people, dead and alive and unborn. I  am a copycat. I am an innovator. I am a mover and a thinker. I am a listener and a learner. I am a reader. I am a dancer. I am a teacher. I am a sister, daughter, niece, cousin, granddaughter, friend, acquaintance, stranger. I am a lover, but I can hate too. I am a collector. I am scared. I am brave. I am clever. I am kind. I am a loner. I am a team player. I am not a leader or a talker, but I would like to learn to be. I am a worrier. I am calm. I am angry. I am hurtful. I am a historian and a storyteller and an engineer. I am imaginative and boring. I am honest, and I am a liar. I am a perfectionist. I am tidy. I am organised. I am lazy. I am messy. I am grumpy. I am tired. I am hungry. I am self obsessed. I am good at looking after others. I am funny. I am considerate. I am needy. I am giving. I am greedy. I am compassionate. I am sorry. I am wrong. I am wonderful. I am foolish. I am naive. I am wise. I am hopeful. I am pragmatic. I am a realist and a dreamer. I am going to die one day, but I am going to do something wonderful first. I am good and bad. I am silly. I am all of this and more than this and I am almost nothing at all. Here, now, I am a creator.

It really doesn’t matter how I finish the sentence ‘I am…’ They are all truths at times and lies at times. And no one cares as much as I do. What is important is ‘I am.’ That sentence is complete, and I hope I make it meaningful.

And I hope you get something positive from it. Stay alive while you can, and remember to give energy and time to ensure others do too. It’s always worth it.

Love,

Enrica xxx

  6. “Yes” again, you are in the right track….. I might not be a writer, but I can certainly read, and I like to unfold what’s hidden behind the web of smart words.. the boldness that’s left inside, and is indeed the “nod” of all the brilliants said. Beautiful ways of putting into words all the memories inside the head, but behind the veil of all those memories there is a substance of the unseen, a certainty of what we hope….., and now we are getting into what the “nod” is…. the hidden, the bold, the substance, and the unseen, on a brilliant, beautiful, smart spiral of words and rhymes, in my opinion many times is, what is waiting in the other side of, the verge of the awakening, the portal of the insight, the breach through the wall of remembrance, and the relief into solid ground. Surrounding into this higher level of consciousness every “poem”, and every “dance” too ( I just “pitched” this image from your words), becomes more alive, and our state of mind, sets on balance, beyond the words, beyond “the movement”…(when it is synthetize “inside”, with all the right ingredients for the “freely releasing out” of the whole spirit of it)…… then we can remain resting in the “knowingness”, that our maker gave us, as an other higher “GIFT”.
By the way, I’ve been a ballerina too in body and in spirit, “so”… hello there”….but, right now, just “in spirit”, since a while ago. So….. I think, I might understand “something” of how the “spirit of movement” can evolve and transforms into words too,….that in your case, may opinion, “is remarkable”.
Hoping again, that I made some senses. Thank you for the boost again, I clarify something every time I read you.

  10. “Dear Bumblebee”, sorry I’ve been unable to answer you, since a little while, actually was answering you on the 20th, when my fiancé call me to tell me to “run to him” immediately, cause he had had a small accident doing a job, and was at the “Hospital”, since then I’ve been very busy. The accident was not that big deal, but had a small surgery, and it’s going to take a while until he is completely well. I thank you “greatly” for continue sending me your blogging, which I enjoy, but haven’t been able to read. Soon I’ll be in the run again, and communicating more. “Always in mind, you all guys”. “Regards”.
