Reach Out

Reach out, for the arms that will hold you,

eyes that told you – thunk thunk – I see you.

Reach out, with the hands that cold you

rubs together, and old you

Reach out, for the gold in the sunshine,

sold for free, for me.

Reach out, for the weight that folds you

and reach out, for the bolt that jolts you

moulds you, into a bold you.

Reach out, for the voice that scolds you

rolled you into a star.

Reach out

and light up where we are.
