To Everyone Who Has Been Following My Blog

I expect some of you will have noticed that I have been posting less regularly and have been more inactive for the last third of 2015. This is for a good reason, I moved, started part-time studying, and got a job as a teaching assistant and it has been taking up most of my time and energy. It’s helped me focus on what I enjoy doing and how to best serve my community. I hope to continue being creative, and perhaps now and again sharing things online, but I felt you were long overdue some sort of explanation for why my speculative garbled broken pieces of idea weren’t to be found floating here any more. I started this blog as part of my 2015 New Year’s Resolutions, to express myself and achieve some peace within my self and surroundings. What I have put up here was mostly things I needed to get off my chest, to give me the space to open it up and find some treasure. And I did. This year’s resolution is to put more energy into my daily life, and whilst that may end up manifesting itself in writing more, I think my main focus is going to be on being active in my body, away from the laptop, and on strengthening my face to face interactions with people. Before I do that, however, I just wanted to let you all know that every time you clicked on that star, posted something honest or beautiful, or reached out to me, you brought a bit of light, in both senses. You helped me feel less heavy and you brightened my day, and that’s how I got from feeling stuck and alone at the start of last year, to trying new things, re-finding old things, building new dreams, reviving old ones, making new friends, reconnecting with old friends and finding a new energy, enjoyment, and direction, (remembering my old one) by the start of this year. Thank you ❤

  1. Thanks for sharing I’ve been feeling the same concerning most of your latter sentiments. I also started my blog in January 2015 and been feeling like spending less time on it lately… Wish you well in your endeavors 💞💞💕

  2. I think you beautifully described what blogging is all about. I also think it is a step in helping to reconnect in a face to face way with others when life seems too have put us in a place where that thought has become overwhelming. I am happy for you and congratulations on your physical body new activities! Happy 2016!

  3. Even should you ultimately decide against ever posting another thing, know that you have had an impact on people’s lives, and that they wish you the very best of everything… always!
    Peace.
