My Best Poem

Has no words to see,

my best poem needs me,

my best poem spends most time licking a roof,

my best poem pulled out its wobbly tooth,

my best poem tells the truth,

my best poem noses, forsooth,

my best poem rots, but it’s alive,

my best poem has both spots and stripes,

my best poem has ten thousand I’s

my best poem makes another try,

my best poem has nailed hands,

my best poem lives to dance,

my best poem jumps at a chance,

my best poem wants to prance,

my best poem hopes you laugh,

my best poem wrote for that,

my best poem changes minds,

my best poem sometimes unwinds,

my best poem never sits still,

my best poem flows at will,

my best poem gets over conscious

so take this lie f or what you’re wanting

my best poem wonders

beyond its home

my best poem wanders, on its own

my best poem gives me health

my best poem’s heart, it beats itself.
